cbee is a social app for pet owners to share photos and short videos of their
pets, follow other owners, comment, message, and discover pet-service partners.
This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. By using cbee you
agree to this policy.
Who we are

Data is processed on Supabase (PostgreSQL, authentication, edge functions) and
Cloudflare R2 (media storage). We are the data controller for the information
described below.
Data we collect
- Account information: email address, username, and full name (from sign-up or Google sign-in).
- Profile information: bio, avatar image, and pet details you add.
- User-generated content: photos, videos, captions, hashtags, comments, and direct messages you create.
- Interaction data: likes, follows, reel views, and searches you submit.
- Device / push token: a notification token and basic device info, used only to deliver push notifications you opt into.
- Technical data: standard request metadata (e.g. IP address, timestamps) processed by our hosting providers to operate and secure the service.
We do not collect precise location, we do not
run advertising or third-party tracking SDKs, and we do not sell
your personal data.
How we use your data
- To provide the core features (feed, reels, profiles, messaging, search, notifications).
- To personalise what you see (e.g. content from people you follow).
- To send notifications you have opted into.
- To keep the platform secure and prevent abuse.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only:
- With other users, as part of the app's social features (e.g. your posts and profile are visible to others).
- With service providers who host and operate the platform (Supabase, Cloudflare), under their data-processing terms.
- When required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.
Data retention
We retain your data while your account is active. If you request account
deletion, your data is retained for up to 30 days (to allow recovery) and then
permanently deleted.

Children
cbee is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided
us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Access to your content is enforced by
row-level security so users can only act on their own data. No method of
transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we apply industry-standard measures.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last
updated" date above and, where appropriate, surfaced in the app.
